Chemical releases can occur as a result of spills, industrial operations, fires, or explosions. This webinar will illustrate three phases of the science necessary to understand a release and its potential human health effects.

(1) How to determine the cause of the release and how to calculate emissions.

(2) How to evaluate exposure of people downwind through air dispersion modeling, including, most importantly, how to determine where "downwind" is.

(3) How to use formal causal analysis to determine the merits of a plaintiff's case, including how to integrate plaintiff anecdotal information into the analysis.

This webinar will be of value to plant managers, plant health, safety, and environmental managers, and inside and outside counsel who wish to be proactive in thinking through their response to an incident before one happens.
